Potato Pal Couples Bundle

I ordered the potato pal bundle for a friend i hadnt seen in many years, included photos from a time we cherished. I requested the ship date to be christmas eve, thats when the label was created. it wasnt shipped for about 4 days after that. i thought smooth sailing from there, i was WRONG. the package was rerouted to different cities all around the final destination. it took almost 3 weeks to arrive. when it did, i was excited and asked for a unboxing video to see my friend's amusement. the joy never came. when they opened the bag it came in, the box that was inside was destroyed, had visible liquid damage, and had a foul odor almost visible to the camera. when they finally saw the potato, that was truly the needle in the haystack of this whole situation, the images came out fine, but literally no other part of the experience was acceptable. I've emailed support 3 separate times and have had no luck reaching anyone. thank you potato parcel for making this holiday season a potato.

I must say, my disappointment was great from beginning to end. I was excited to order these potatoes as a gag gift. I put a lot of thought into punny phrases for each one and even found the perfect pictures to add to the fun.

Then the problems began.

First, I accidentally entered my own address instead of the recipient’s. That part was my mistake, but I emailed support immediately. They don’t offer phone support, and the automated response said:

“Your request has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.
We answer emails Monday–Friday from 7 am–2 pm PST. You can expect to receive a response within 24 hours or less during this window. Thank you!”

I never heard back. I emailed again. Still nothing.

Because of that, the package arrived at my home, and I had to pay $17 to forward it to the intended recipient. Again, the address error was mine, but the complete lack of customer support was very disappointing.

When the package finally arrived, things got even worse. There was a surprise third potato intended for someone else’s birthday that had completely rotted and leaked all over the potato meant for my recipient. On top of that, there were no pictures on the back of the potato as ordered, and the writing on the one potato was almost impossible to read.

Overall, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. A Spud‑tacularly Bad Gift Experience

This is a sad sticker on a potato. I thought that the picture was printed directly on the potato and that would have been funny, but a sticker that crinkled messed up the face. Also the potato was cold, so when warmed to room temp the condensation pushed the sticker off. Lame, even for a gag gift, and waste of money.

I gave these to my fiancé on our wedding day! He cracked up and everyone loved them! Perfect gift for my potato-loving husband!!!

For $30, I expected my kids pics to be larger on the potato. They were smaller than the pictures and already peeling off. The candy was a disappointment. 2 nerds and 3 tootsie rolls. Got a good laugh out of it though and I loved personalizing the message for Father’s Day.
