Potato Pal

I had an issue where I had two separate orders for potatoes. One had a message on it, and the other had an image on it. The issue I was trying to resolve was that I wanted to cancel the order with the potato that had a message on it, and the other order with the image on the potato I wanted to change the shipping address. I tried to reach out to the company via email several times (phone call is not an option), but no one ever got back to me to fix this. So the issues were left unresolved.

Overall, I was not happy with how this was handled, and I will not be using this company again. There needs to better communication and an option to where I can call someone and not have my emails ignored.

When ordering, the shipping address is filled in with your payment address. From there its is way too easy to ship this potato to yourself. The confirmation screen comes fast and flies past unlike most websites.

Ok, fine. I tried to cancel the order to after this happened and guess what? Can’t find the button to do so because it’s buried in a menu somewhere. Next step: Contact the business! Two emails later (and a useless auto-reply not manned by a human) and the item was shipped to me with no way to stop it.

The item was received in a package. Trust me when I say this: I’ve used similar sites that ship the potato without a container. That’s the part that makes it such a funny prank. Inside a package defeats the joke.

Waste of money. There are better places that do this harmless prank. Try any other but this one.

Used the arranged “set up a package to be sent on this day” service they have provided. The label was made but the damn package didn’t leave wherever they’re at until 6 days had passed. It then took 3 days of shipping, at which point it was thoroughly late and the joke gift was long past funny.

I wasn't sure to expect when I ordered this, but I can 100% say that I was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I have a love for potatoes, so for his 40th birthday, this was a no-brainer. I had him film his reaction as we are long-distance, and I must've watched the video 10 times by now. The picture on the potato was in color (wasn't expecting that), the words were on the back, and to see his look of amazement was worth every penny. Customer service was super helpful when I panicked that my order didn't go through properly, which I really appreciated. 13/10 would recommend if you have someone in your life with a great sense of humor and a love for potatoes.

For starters, this entire business model is hilarious. Sending my friend a potato with his picture on it is so random that it's just perfect. Unfortunately, I guess I myself am a potato as I did not realize that this was literally just going to be a potato with a STICKER of a picture. I guess I thought potato parcels infinite power and budget would let them somehow engrave the pic or print it onto the potato. So now I look like the fool for paying $30+ after shipping for a potato and a sticker. So I guess what I'm saying is read the fine print before purchasing any products here.
