Classy Potato Gift Bundle

I have ordered several potatoes over the years and am usually very pleased. This time it took far too long to be delivered and when I inquired about the delivery I was (apologized to) and given a new date and tracking number. At least the second time they only missed the date by a day.

While the product is fine - obviously hilarious - the customer service and communication has put me in a sour position against buying this ever again. The support team is unresponsive. The auto-generated email says they will respond within 24 hrs, and that simply did not happen. Moreover, the shipping date was not honored. And to be clear, I'm talking about the SHIPPING date, not the delivery date. I can understand that would not be in their control. I ordered the potato over 2 weeks before I requested for a shipping date to feel more confident about an appropriate arrival time for father's day. The other disappointment is that they would not honor a discount code that I expected to use as checkout, just missed the section to insert the code. I emailed within minutes of the order to rectify, but as mentioned, no communication so of course they didn't honor it.

My friends absolutely loved it. They were so surprised when they opened it and saw a actual potato in it.

It arrived three days late and I ordered it a week prior to MD. I won't be a return customer. Great Idea tho.

Considering that probably no one is sending themselves a potato, you would think that the “deliver to” address input would be more noticeable, but it didn’t even stand out to me. I really honestly don’t recall entering anything besides my billing address and I think it just assumed it was the same. It should have you manually enter this info or have something pop up asking if it’s correct. I immediately realized that I hadn’t entered the recipients address and panicked because what the hell am I gonna do now with this potato that costs $40?! There was nowhere I could cancel, no one I could call. I emailed, but it was the weekend so no one got back to me until Tuesday and by then, it had already been sent. I was offered options to intercept the package, but that was $20. At that rate, I could just send it myself. But who then is paying $60 for a potato? Okay, and some candy, but either way not worth it. Jokes on me, I guess! I’ll send her a picture of how thoughtful and funny I was attempting to be and watch as the potato rots away. Please fix your website, it’s terrible.
