My daughter laughed when she received it for her birthday. Shipping took a long time.
My friend thought it was hilarious. From my end as the purchaser there was a lot to be desired. I payed for expedited shipping, I think was supposed to be 2-3 days. I got a shipping notification with a date a week away. I emailed customer support 3 times until I got an answer and I was finally refunded the difference between regular shipping and expedited. My friend liked it but would have been great if it had arrived on her birthday and not several days after.
I purchased this potato and the candy set to celebrate one of my students acceptance into an elite dance group called RAW. I didn’t really receive a lot of shipping or tracking updates but it made it there in just over a week. I wish there would’ve been different candy in the box other than just two small packages, but the potato was worth it.
This was a gift for my daughter, with the simple words, “I believe in you.”
We use this phrase in a multitude of ways, and both ways can be used whenever.
One, things are tough, and she needs to grit it out. I believe in you goes a long way.
Two, she’s bitching because something is hard, and a sarcastic I believe in you goes a long way.
On occasion, when it’s an impossible task and she’s just getting her ass whipped by school or an activity, I believe in you and we laugh, she puts her head down, and takes the beating and the lesson learned.
So yeah, it’s expensive, but it’s 100% worth it. That memory will last forever.
Waste of money. Paid for an overpriced potato with a printed cut out of picture glued to the potato. I could have saved the money and did that myself. Do not spend your money on this at all!!
The potato was shipped to me instead of the attended person. I know I wrote the recipients name and their address in the ship to. Complete waste of my money.

This gift was well received!!!!! It was exactly what I was looking for. No problems with the printing or packaging. I would have given it the full 5 stars but I think it is very expensive for a potato and 4 tiny halloween candies.
We had to congratulate Ryan on his new apartment. What better gift than a potato? He literally said that he could not have asked for anything more. Asking him to videotape the opening was a great idea. Now, we will have this humorous memory forever.

You're not buying a product here—you're buying an idea, and unfortunately, the execution is completely missing.
What arrived was a potato with a crooked, poorly cut sticker slapped on one side, and faint, barely legible text on the other (the first line was half-missing entirely). The image sticker was sliced off at the forehead and peeling at the edges. Clearly, quality control is either non-existent or wildly inconsistent.
The ordering process? Just as sloppy. My confirmation email boldly claimed I hadn’t uploaded a photo or included any text—both of which I had done. I had to reach out to customer service to verify they actually had my info. To their credit, the CS team was polite and responsive. But let’s be honest: needing to double-check your order and chase confirmation for a joke gift defeats the entire purpose.
This was mildly funny, but ultimately frustrating. I won’t be ordering again. Potato Parcel sells the gimmick, but doesn’t deliver the follow-through. You’re paying for a punchline with no setup—just a tuber with a sticker and a shrug.
My brother liked the shiny gold package. It caught the eye of his 10 year old son also so they opened it together. They were confused, then laughed, then looked at each other and said , “Christine!” Mission accomplished!
I am very happy with the order. It was a surprise gift for my girlfriend. She was stunned that I was able to find a potato to send her with our photo on it and the words I picked on the back. It looks great!!!
Id like to see in the future a preview of my potato, I think they would help. When I ordered initially it said no photo attached, I promptly emailed customer service with my issue and the photo i wanted and it was corrected and I received an email back acknowledging my issue and the attached photo and was told it would be taken care of. It was!!!!
I read other reviews and I can say I had a great experience and I would recommend this company and I will order again!!

I recently ordered this as a gag gift for a staff family member, and although it allegedly came from Texas to Texas, they sent it out in the mail prior to a very, very normal Texas weekend of temperature
Because they said that they don’t ship or deliver on the weekends, it was assumed that that would’ve gone out earlier next week, but instead it sat in a hot truck and what’s attempted to be re-delivered on Monday.
It would’ve been a funny gag, turned into a melted soup with one piece of candy edible that was a lollipop, and the potato was showing signs of spoilage so that it couldn’t even be enjoyed more than a couple minutes.

Best part is, I forgot I ordered it. She sent me the video of her opening it and we both laughed so hard! Truly a dumb funny gift for that very specific person
I ordered this for my daughter for her birthday. I paid the extra shipping to have it arrive on time and it arrived 7 days late. When it arrived it was soft on one end, so on the verge of rotting. Part of the message was not there.
I sent a complaint to the company and they did refund me half of my shipping fee, so they gave me back $4. In my opinion, what they should have done is refunded me everything and sent me an apology.
Now, I have to take part of the responsibility because I did not read the reviews beforehand. Had I done that and seen that they get very few positive reviews. I probably would have not ordered it. Like I said, that's on me.
I will not would not and could not in good conscience, Recommend this company to anyone.

Sent as a surprise gift for my parents - they got a kick out of it! My sis and I didn't let on that we sent it, so they were having a fun time trying to guess who sent them a potato. We're definitely going to send another!
I paid a few extras for my son's birthday potato. Picture is kinda small and on the opposite side to the happy birthday message. Also personalized card message is on a piece of card not printed in the Birthday Card as I assumed. Pointless add on and pricy

Not sure what happened but the humor of the gift was lost on the getting the wrong photo.
Very impressed with the product. Gave it to my granddaughter and she loved it. It was very easy to order and the delivery was very quick. Plan on ordering again.
It’s just literally a sticker if the picture. I could have printed it off and glued it on myself. And the words are just painted on.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! No customer service, product was not delivered as specified, complete waste of money!!

Not at all like advertised. Cropping of the photo was crap. Just a picture print out glued on (with a wrinkle in it!).
Only two stars cause the idea was unique and did get a chuckle from the recipient once he figured out what the picture was of.
Wish we could upload photos with our reviews. Probably turned off for this reason.
