I've been a customer in the past with this company. I placed an order on 5/30 for a friend for their birthday that was in a week. I realized I put down the wrong date for it to ship and sent a email the following day seeing if there was any way to change the shipping date. With that date being a weekend I knew I probably wouldn't get a reply until that Mon (June 1) I never got a reply. I emailed them 2x for a follow up and they finally replied back close to a week and a half later. By the time customer service sent a reply it was out for delivery that day and missed the date for her birthday. In the past when I needed customer service they've replied back either that same day or a day later.
One of my potato pictures was cropped incorrectly and was basically just a sqaure picture on the potato which looked terribly cheap. Both were not smoothly pasted onto the potato; there were peeling edges. I guess I expected it to be a little better based on the photos showed in the original posting (which looks obviously digitally edited and not an actual product).
Also was confusing as to whether there was a candy bundle included or not because when I went to check out, it told me to add a candy bundle since mine did not come with one. Even though the description said it did. I ended up adding it and having two bundles of candies come even though confirmation email said no candy bundles were added. The candy was smaller than expected also.
Delivery took longer than expected.
Personally wouldn’t order again. I feel like I could do this better on my own with a printer and modge podge or a laser printer.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I ordered and promptly realized I forgot something. I wrote to them immediately and "Camille" said she'd take care of it. I ordered a card with wording( got a blank card), a potato with something written on it ( didn't get that) AND it came in a gold bag ..NOT a gold box as advertised!! I emailed twice now and have been ghosted. Poor customer service, poorly advertised...I want to send everything back and get a refund, but....total silence from the business.
For starters, this entire business model is hilarious. Sending my friend a potato with his picture on it is so random that it's just perfect. Unfortunately, I guess I myself am a potato as I did not realize that this was literally just going to be a potato with a STICKER of a picture. I guess I thought potato parcels infinite power and budget would let them somehow engrave the pic or print it onto the potato. So now I look like the fool for paying $30+ after shipping for a potato and a sticker. So I guess what I'm saying is read the fine print before purchasing any products here.
I wrote my message for the potato & placed my order. It was supposed to arrive no later than 5/23/2026. It arrived on 5/26/2026. It was in a plastic, soft sided mailing envelope. It was 'juicy' and damaged - broken into pieces. It was rotten on the inside. The 'message' was broken off the side of the potato. I've reached out to customer service - still no response. Keep your money - don't waste it on this product/company.
My bff sent me a potato with a photo of me as a random surprise years ago and it was the funniest best thing I’ve ever received. Now like 5-6 years later, I’m sending him a potato in my bridesman proposal box with a photo of us in high school. So cute and so full circle - best gift for the friends you laugh with!!

Considering that probably no one is sending themselves a potato, you would think that the “deliver to” address input would be more noticeable, but it didn’t even stand out to me. I really honestly don’t recall entering anything besides my billing address and I think it just assumed it was the same. It should have you manually enter this info or have something pop up asking if it’s correct. I immediately realized that I hadn’t entered the recipients address and panicked because what the hell am I gonna do now with this potato that costs $40?! There was nowhere I could cancel, no one I could call. I emailed, but it was the weekend so no one got back to me until Tuesday and by then, it had already been sent. I was offered options to intercept the package, but that was $20. At that rate, I could just send it myself. But who then is paying $60 for a potato? Okay, and some candy, but either way not worth it. Jokes on me, I guess! I’ll send her a picture of how thoughtful and funny I was attempting to be and watch as the potato rots away. Please fix your website, it’s terrible.
I wanted to love this, and the potato was funny, but the shipping was subpar. I chose the date my potato was to arrive and it arrived a full week later. Thanks USPS. Maybe charge more and use a reliable shipping method?
Had an issue, emailed several times and never heard back. Product is not as cool as it seems.
The order was never sent out. I reached out 4 times within a month and finally got a response saying I could get a refund or they'd resend the order. To this day neither had happened and I hadn't heard anything more until a few minutes ago when I was asked to provide a review as its been 60 days
The potato arrived in fairly good quality, but it arrived about a week late. Definitely more expensive than would be worth a potato and a little streamer. If I do something like this again I will be putting my own text on a potato and mailing it for a much cheaper price and a more reliable delivery time.
I have contacted customer service twice now still with no response. I held off writing this review, hoping that you would respond and make things right with my order. The candy that was supposed to be included in my order was a box of old melted and inedible chocolates. I am still waiting for a response and hoping that you will still make this right.
Hilarious gift however my friend was confused when it arrived with a Happy Valentines Day box of chocolates. I don’t remember seeing Valentines day mentioned anywhere in the description. She loved the uniqueness of the gift though.
They sent the wrong potato and ruined fun moment. Asked for a refund and got a survey email instead. I need my money back.
The card received was cheap and didn't look much like the picture. Looks like they decided to go cheap to save money.
It was a fun idea. The candy was suspect and it was supposed to be a potato and popup flowers. No flowers in the box. The writing on the potato was poorly done. There does not seem to be any quality control.
I recently ordered this for my sisters birthday- it never arrived, I was communicating with customer service and then my messages stopped- little did I know- they promptly reordered and shipped a new potato. Much appreciated.
I emailed to let you know my package was never delivered. After a few emails back and forth the rep stopped responding. Please either refund me or give me options. I’m super frustrated.
He absolutely loved it! Was completely shocked!!! Kept asking how I got someone to make it and actually mail it! haha. Now we are hiding it in random places around the house so when we open a cabinet or drawer, it's right there! HAHA.
